Founded on a Simple Belief

Frost-Shock began in 2014 with a straightforward observation: most people aren't bad with money, they just lack the right guidance. Financial services had become increasingly complex and intimidating, leaving many feeling excluded from expert advice.

Our founder, having spent years in traditional financial institutions, saw an opportunity to do things differently. What if financial guidance could be accessible, practical, and genuinely helpful rather than filled with jargon and upselling?

That question became our mission. We set up in Nottingham with a commitment to treating every client as an individual, not a number. Over the years, that approach has grown into a trusted practice serving hundreds of local families and businesses.

Our Core Values

Transparency

No hidden agendas, no confusing small print. We explain our fees upfront and ensure you understand exactly what you're paying for and what you'll receive in return.

Empowerment

Our goal isn't to make you dependent on us. We aim to build your financial knowledge so you can make confident decisions independently.

Practicality

Theory is fine, but we focus on what actually works in real life. Every strategy we recommend has been proven effective with clients facing similar situations.

Accessibility

Quality financial guidance shouldn't be reserved for the wealthy. We structure our services to be accessible to people at various income levels.

Integrity

We only recommend what's genuinely in your best interest. If we don't think our services are right for your situation, we'll tell you honestly.

Continuity

Financial planning isn't a one-time event. We build lasting relationships with our clients, supporting them through changing circumstances and evolving goals.

Giving Back to Nottingham

We believe financial literacy should be available to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay for private advice. That's why we've invested significantly in community education.

Our free workshops cover topics from basic budgeting to understanding credit scores, and we partner with local schools to introduce financial concepts to young people before they face adult financial decisions.

Each year, our team volunteers over 200 hours at local community centres, providing one-on-one guidance to residents who need support but can't afford formal financial advice.
